We were soldiers together in Vietnam/Cambodia.

He was in my platoon and my squad as we led the way on June 22nd, 1970. I remember him as a brave young leader who never coward, cried, nor ran from duty but, led as bravely as anyone could. He was someone to be proud of as a son, brother and friend. He was decent and kind with a good head on his shoulder. I miss and think about him daily. He is forever young and one of my heroes. "We were soldiers once together." He helped to keep me safe from harm.

He gave his life so that the World could live in freedom.
