The Memorial Fund furnishes the volunteers with the necessary supplies to accomplish their volunteer support. Each summer, the Memorial Fund honors these hardworking individuals each year at a luncheon held in Washington, D.C. The Memorial Fund recognizes and applauds the great services provided by these dedicated men and women.
How to become a volunteer
There are a number of ways to become a volunteer at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
One is by registering as a volunteer with the National Park Service (NPS). As a volunteer with the NPS you would spend time at The Wall assisting visitors ' answering questions, looking up names on The Wall, doing name rubbings, etc. To register with the NPS, contact the Vietnam Veterans Memorial NPS Kiosk at (202) 634-1568 or (202) 426-6843 or visit the NPS Web site.
You also can sign up to volunteer with the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund. We engage in a number of commemorative and educational activities aimed at preserving the legacy of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, promoting healing and educating about the impact of the Vietnam War.
