Each year, the Memorial Fund holds several ceremonies and special events at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial to help carry out its mission of honor and healing.

Upcoming Ceremony: Father's Day Rose Remembrance
Father's Day is always a special day at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, but this year also marks the 20th Anniversary of Sons & Daughters In Touch. The organization will be hosting a series of events June 17-20.  To learn more, please visit www.sdit.org.

The Father's Day Rose Remembrance will take place on Sunday, June 20 at 10 a.m. at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C.

The ceremony is open to the public.

Get Involved: Father's Day Rose Remembrance 
On Father's Day, volunteers join sons and daughters of those whose names are inscribed on The Wall and gather in the early morning to affix long-stemmed roses with messages of love and honor, sent from across the country to those lost in the war. 

We welcome members of the public to join us if you're in the Washington, D.C. area.  If you have a message that you would like left at The Wall for Father's Day, please e-mail vvmf@vvmf.org.

Beginning at 8:30 a.m., volunteers will gather at 21st & Constitution to affix messages to the roses.
