VETERANS DAY MARKS 10TH ANNIVERSARY OF VIETNAM WOMEN’S MEMORIAL
Admiral William J. Crowe, Jr., USN (Ret.) To Give Keynote;
Singer Aaron Tippin To Perform “Where The Stars and Stripes and The Eagle Fly”
WHAT: Admiral William J. Crowe, Jr., USN (Ret.), former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff under President Reagan and Senior Naval Advisor to the Vietnamese Navy Riverine Force, will give the keynote address at this year’s Annual Veterans Day Observance at The Wall. Other featured participants include:

WHAT: Thousands of Vietnam veterans and their families will gather at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial for the Annual Veterans Day Observance. This year also commemorates the 10th Anniversary of the Vietnam Women’s Memorial. The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund and the National Park Service co-host the event each year.
WHEN: Tuesday, November 11 — 1 p.m.
WHERE: Vietnam Veterans Memorial (21st Street & Constitution Avenue, NW) Washington, D.C.
WHY: The Annual Veterans Day Observance at The Wall honors all who have answered the nation's call to duty and reaffirms the commitment to those who serve today.
Established in 1979, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund is the non-profit organization authorized by Congress to build the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. Today, the Memorial Fund has developed a series of outreach programs dedicated to preserving the legacy of The Wall, promoting healing and educating about the effects of the Vietnam War.
