John C. Dibble
Chairman
Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund
Attorney at Law
John Dibble is an attorney in Washington, D.C. where he specializes in law related to national security and foreign policy issues. He has been a special assistant to a U.S. senator and a prosecuting attorney. He is a graduate of Columbia University and the Indiana University School of Law.
Mr. Dibble served in the U.S. Navy in Vietnam as officer-in-charge of a Swift Boat, commanding officer of an operating base and advisor to Vietnamese ground and naval forces. He has written several articles and essays on the war and its aftermath, and has appeared in television documentaries and on talk shows dealing with Vietnam.
He lives in Great Falls, Virginia with his wife Nikki and their daughter, Annie.

James V. Kimsey

Founding CEO and Chairman Emeritus
America Online, Inc.
Jim Kimsey is the founding chief executive officer and chairman emeritus of America Online, Inc. He also serves as president of the Kimsey Foundation and has founded numerous successful businesses in the Washington, D.C. area.
Mr. Kimsey graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and served two combat tours in Vietnam with the U.S. Army as a captain from 1965-66 and as a major from 1968-69. He received numerous awards for valor and service.
He is active in supporting many veterans groups and organizations that monitor U.S./Vietnam relations. Additionally, Mr. Kimsey has fostered strong relations with the expatriate Vietnamese community, and has worked to further the educational and social development of the Vietnamese people through philanthropic projects in Vietnam, including an orphanage he supports in Duc Pho.

George W. Mayo, Jr.

George "Sandy" Mayo is a partner in the international law firm Hogan & Hartson. He practices principally in the areas of litigation and administrative law, with emphasis in the fields of commercial and insurance litigation and transportation law.
Mr. Mayo has published and spoken in the areas of litigation, insurance coverage, and transportation law. He also has served as a trial advocacy instructor for the Federal Trade Commission. He serves on the board of various civic and nonprofit organizations.
He is a member of the Bar of both the District of Columbia and Virginia. He received his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1973 and thereafter joined Hogan & Hartson. Mr. Mayo served in Vietnam as a lieutenant in the U.S. Army from 1969-71.

Janis Nark
Lt. Col. USAR (Ret.)
President, JJ Snow, Ltd.
Janis Nark is president of her own corporation which markets her fashions nationally and internationally under her private label, JJ Snow, Ltd. She also is a certified professional ski instructor, a multi-published author, and internationally known motivational speaker.
Lt. Col. Nark served as a registered nurse in the U.S. Army, including a tour in Vietnam. Serving in the Army Reserves, she was recalled to active duty for nine months during Desert Storm. She retired after 26 years.
A graduate of the Armed Forces Command and General Staff College, Lt. Col. Nark also served at the Academy of Health Sciences, where she was recognized as an expert in nuclear, biological and chemical warfare.

Harry G. Robinson, III, FAIA, AICP
Professor and Dean Emeritus

Harry Robinson is a professor of urban design and dean emeritus at Howard University in Washington, D.C., where he has served as interim provost and vice president for the university administration. He holds professional degrees in architecture and city planning from Howard University, and an advanced degree in urban design from the Graduate School of Design, Harvard University.
Mr. Robinson also served as a member of the U.S. Commission of Fine Arts, which advises the Federal and District of Columbia governments on matters of art and architecture in the nation's capital.
In addition to his responsibilities at Howard University, Mr. Robinson maintains a selective interdisciplinary practice in project development and communication, programming, urban design, architecture, planning, and landscape architecture as TheRobinsonGroup. Among his many recent projects was a $240 million theme park master plan in Shenzhen, People's Republic of China.
From 1966-1968, Mr. Robinson served in the U.S. Army, achieving the rank of first lieutenant. His tours of duty included that of a Ranger-qualified combat unit commander with the First Infantry Division in Vietnam, for which he was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.

Jan C. Scruggs
Founder and President
Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund
Jan Scruggs is founder and president of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund, the organization authorized by Congress in 1980 to build the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
Mr. Scruggs served in the 199th Light Infantry Brigade of the U.S. Army in Vietnam from 1969-1970. He was wounded and decorated for gallantry.
He was appointed by President Clinton to the Selective Service Appeals Board. He also is a board member of the National Veterans Legal Services Project and special assistant to the Chairman of the Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund. In 1993, he was named one of the Ten Outstanding Young Americans by the U.S. Jaycees.
Mr. Scruggs received his bachelor's and master's degrees from The American University in Washington, D.C., and his law degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore.

John O. Woods Jr.

Woods Peacock Engineering Consultants
Receiving his reserve officer commission from The Citadel in 1964, John O. Woods Jr. served in Vietnam as a U.S. Army helicopter pilot with the 116th Assault Helicopter Company at Cu Chi, RVN, from September 1967 until he was shot down in a rescue mission in October 1967. He was awarded the air medal with "V" device for this mission, spending the next three years in rehabilitation as a patient at Walter Reed Medical Center until his retirement in 1970 for medical disability.
Mr. Woods has 40 years of experience in structural engineering. He co-founded Woods Peacock Engineering Consultants in 1999 after 29 years
with FDE, Ltd., Consulting Engineers in Alexandria, Virginia. He has designed or been responsible for more than 500 significant structures,
and has consulted on hundreds more for private and government clients worldwide.
Mr. Woods has been active professionally, having served as president of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Metropolitan
Washington, and numerous committees of professional societies. He is a member of the large complex case panel of the American Arbitration
Association. Also active in his community, he is past president of the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce, and is president-elect of the Alexandria
Rotary Club. He earned his bachelor's degree in civil engineering from The Citadel and his master's degree from Duke University.
