Forty-three years ago, 24 service members made the ultimate sacrifice. Hailing from all parts of the United States and serving with the different branches of our armed forces, they share this common bond. We honor and remember them.

Your smile we cannot see,
We can only treasure the memories,

The Memorial Fund has been working to collect a picture for each of the more than 58,000 men and women who lost their lives in the war or remain missing in action. Since launching the Put a Face with a Name campaign in Fall 2001, we have collected more than 10,000 photographs. If you have a photo of a loved one, classmate or comrade whose name is inscribed on The Wall, please click here to learn how you can help.
